Description

The specialist will handle data entry and verification of renters’ insurance documentation, maintain records in Yardi, and act as a liaison between residents, insurance providers, and the Realty Assurance Captive manager. Monthly insurance premium reports will be reconciled, compliance tracked, and results communicated to management through scorecards. The role also involves supporting preferred tenant insurance providers with enrollment, disenrollment, and community acquisitions.

• Process and validate non‑preferred provider evidence of insurance.
• Review, input, and update data and tracking items in Yardi.
• Attach insurance documentation to Yardi system.
• Email Weidner properties regarding non‑compliance documentation.
• Generate, analyze, and reconcile monthly insurance premium collections with US & Canada vendor reports.
• Coordinate resident enrollment, disenrollment, and community additions with preferred tenant insurance providers.
• Track compliance with resident insurance leasing requirements and publish monthly scorecards for management.
• Liaise with Realty Assurance Captive manager for monthly bookkeeping and bank account reconciliation.

Requirements

Candidates should have basic data‑entry experience, strong problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office suite. Excellent organizational, time‑management, interpersonal, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Additional requirements include a valid driver’s license, background check, and willingness to comply with company policies and relevant housing laws.
