Maintenance Technician

Description

The Technician will work as part of the Operations & Maintenance team in providing Utilities in support of the client's business Tasks include, but are not limited to Plant rounds; preventative and corrective maintenance, and plant repairs.

• Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines
• Operation of site utilities in support of projects & commissioning
• Keep training current in line with client’s requirements, i.e. SOP’s and work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS rules and guidelines
• Assist in definition of site safety systems
• Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements
• Complete on-site and vendor training
• Liaise with the contract team, client engineering and equipment vendors to ensure maximum uptime of all utilities plant and equipment
• Review spare parts requirements
• Rounds & readings of utilities systems.

Requirements

Pattern is 4 days on 4 days off (Two thirds days and One third nights).

• 3+ years industrial experience in a similar role preferable
• Electrical engineering degree or diploma desirable
• City & Guilds or equivalent Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent
