Previous consulting experience preferred.
Ability to work with initiative, professionalism and confidentiality, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment.
A minimum of 3 years of environmental and regulatory related experience in the energy sector (upstream and/or midstream oil and gas, mining, electrical transmission, power generation, energy transition).
Demonstrated effective writing and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong understanding of provincial (AB) and federal regulations, environmental assessment processes, permitting requirements and construction planning needs.
Key knowledge includes experience within one or more of the following regulatory agencies/legislation: - AUC
Willingness to share experience and support the development of junior staff.
A Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, Environmental Studies or relevant Engineering field.
Holding or eligibility to obtain a relevant professional designation (e.g., P. Bio, R.P.F., P.Ag, EP, P.Eng) preferred but, not necessary.
