The Release Manager will lead end‑to‑end release orchestration, covering scheduling, change management, stakeholder communication, and post‑release validation. This role serves as the central coordination hub among Development, QA, Product, Operations, and Business teams to ensure controlled, auditable, and risk‑mitigated software deployments across web, mobile, and backend services.

Own and maintain the release calendar for all software platforms.
Coordinate release windows, dependencies, and align schedules with business priorities.
Create and manage Change Request tickets in ServiceNow while ensuring policy compliance.
Present release scope, risk assessments, and rollback plans at CAB meetings and obtain approvals.
Develop and distribute clear Release Notes for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Communicate release schedules and impacts to stakeholders and maintain a central documentation repository.
Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure release readiness.
Facilitate go/no‑go meetings, UAT sign‑offs, and provide runbooks and rollback procedures to deployment teams.
Identify, escalate, and resolve release risks and blockers; coordinate emergency hotfixes as needed.
Conduct post‑release retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish release management best practices, templates, and enforce Definition of Done criteria.
Implement metrics, reporting, and automation to improve release velocity and predictability.
Apply SDLC, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices across 50+ annual releases.
