Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS, including defining quality policies, procedures, and control processes.
Inspection and Testing Oversight: Plan and direct the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify adherence to specifications (e.g., ASTM, ACI, AASHTO standards).
Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to establish quality standards for suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and manage the quality of incoming materials.
Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, test results, and inspections are maintained. Prepare and present reports and statistical data on quality performance to management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Training: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of QC inspectors and lab technicians. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and acquisition of laboratory and field testing equipment.
Issue Resolution and Corrective Action: Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities and customer complaints.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Stay current with relevant regulations, industry standards, and certifications (e.g., OSHA, USACE, Caltrans, ISO 9001). Serve as the primary liaison during internal and external audits.

1-3 years’ experience in construction/code enforcement and/or working with ICC codes/building materials; Minimum 2 years in Quality Control procedures and programs.
