Work Migration Engineer - Sustainability

Description

• Ensure data collection methods and practices comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Coordinate work activities to align with business expectations.
• Prepare reports to demonstrate compliance with environmental permits and regulations
• Interface with India execution team to understand execution plan and communicate with customer stakeholders
• Record and organize collected data systematically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Work migration activities within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Develop and implement flow charts to map business and work processes.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives in the organization.
• Organize discussions with customer to understand requirements and map out supporting documentations
• Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
• Get appropriate alignment and approval from customers
• Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio to support project documentation and communication.
• For Upstream Oil and Gas regulations, perform initial applicability and data analysis on environmental regulations for air, water, and waste, and evaluate alternatives to meet compliance requirements, articulate recommendations.
• Standardize work processes by utilizing industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Familiarity with lifecycle assessment (LCA) and carbon accounting methodologies.
• Expertise in ESG reporting and assurance processes.
• Any experience in the Oil & Gas industry across Upstream, Midstream and Downstream.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Apply strong business acumen to understand and align project goals with business objectives.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience with other project management tools and software.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry (Good to have field experience in a Refinery or Upstream production plant).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in project management or a related field.
