Description

The Events Operations Associate ensures the training center is ready, functional, and welcoming for learning programs, speaker series, and company events. This role handles hands‑on event setup and breakdown, coordinates cleaning and maintenance, and supports a safe, organized environment. It works closely with the Events Coordinator to deliver seamless experiences from planning through post‑event follow‑up.

The role is primarily on‑site at the training facility, with occasional evening or weekend hours as event schedules dictate. It involves physical tasks such as lifting furniture and equipment.

• Prepare rooms for training, speaker series, and events, handling furniture arrangement, AV setup, and signage
• Break down and reset rooms after events to ensure readiness for the next use
• Coordinate layout, equipment, and scheduling needs with internal teams and the Events Coordinator
• Develop setup plans, troubleshoot logistics, and meet all event requirements
• Keep the facility clean, organized, and safe; order cleaning services and supplies as needed
• Monitor trash removal, recycling, and conduct regular inspections for maintenance issues
• Liaise with external cleaning and maintenance vendors, track service completion, and ensure quality
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, event materials, and equipment; restock as required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and support emergency preparedness
• Serve as primary facilities point of contact for the Events Coordinator, attending planning meetings and providing feedback

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in facilities coordination, event setup, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Familiarity with basic building systems and cleaning procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; facility management software experience a plus
• Experience coordinating corporate events or training sessions
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
