As a Construction Account Manager at Crescent Electric, you will create and maintain long‑term business relationships with construction customers, meeting sales and gross‑margin targets by prospecting, identifying needs and proposing solutions.
Key duties include completing account business plans in the CRM, developing sales and profit volume in the assigned territory, making regular in‑person sales calls, introducing and demonstrating new products, pricing bills of material, and offering add‑on or up‑sell options when appropriate.
You will also cultivate supplier relationships, resolve customer requests promptly, keep customers informed of company and vendor policies, communicate competitive conditions and feedback to management, and conduct all sales activities ethically and professionally.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (four or more years in wholesale electrical distribution or construction sales), a valid driver’s license with up to 25% travel, strong computer skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines; physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 100 lb, and specific vision requirements.
