  • Deliver technical expertise for plant room products, PHEs, and valves, including specification documents and support.
  • Collaborate with the Specification Director on winning specifications, CPDs, and high-level client presentations.
  • Support marketing by reviewing and approving technical content and creating source materials.
  • Provide technical support for product queries, including selection, sizing, and installation guidance.
  • Manage product group sales targets, product strategies, and plans for range growth.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditations, and approvals in collaboration with sourcing teams.
  • Maintain and develop product data, technical documents, and sales support materials.
  • Investigate and resolve product issues with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
  • Deliver training sessions for staff, contractors, and specifiers to build knowledge and confidence.

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong technical knowledge of plant room equipment, plate heat exchangers (PHEs), and valves to drive growth, provide product certainty, and support specification wins. This role combines technical expertise, product management, and market strategy to elevate a specialist product area.

  • Presentation and sales skills with the ability to advise on system and product selection.
  • Experience in building services industry, including technical, specification, and application elements.
  • Exposure to both technical and commercial aspects of the building services market.
  • Commercial awareness of customer and company requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/plumbing plant room products, PHEs, valves, and systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for external appointments.
  • Ability to read and work with system design drawings.
