Business Development Associate

Description

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
• Identify current and future customer service needs and act as liaison between clients and Element.
• Spot early sales opportunities to maximize Element’s share of wallet.
• Qualify leads with inbound team and coordinate technical support for sales.
• Follow up promptly on quotations and manage the sales pipeline in CRM.
• Participate in regular pipeline reviews and keep CRM data accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Meet sales targets by converting and expanding existing accounts.
• Maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

• ~3 years of business development, sales, or account management experience.
• Ability to interpret customer quotes, contracts, and testing specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable calculating discounts, commissions, etc.
• Valid driver’s licence with acceptable driving record; occasional overnight travel required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused, entrepreneurial mindset.
