Journeyman Welder

Weld, fabricate, repair, and paint waste handling equipment in Edmonton.
Ensure quality, efficient, and safe completion of all repairs.
Inspect and maintain assigned hand tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order, notifying the Shop Manager of needed repairs.
Maintain a clean work area in the shop or on the job site and any assigned vehicles.
Attend safety and branch meetings.
Repair and prepare equipment for painting, including the painting of assigned equipment.
Operate specified welding equipment to fabricate and repair new and used solid waste handling equipment.
Provide basic personal tools such as a welding shield, basic hand wrenches, etc.
Adhere to all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders, as well as all Company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.
Assist other shop employees with repairs and duties.
Maintain accurate records of services performed.
