Help identify new investment opportunities and support relationship-building efforts with developers, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.
Assist in the negotiation and structuring of term sheets and transaction documents.
Protect and realize the value of portfolio investments through engaging project counterparties, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating project modifications/restructurings, and executing asset sales.
Support GE Vernova strategic initiatives, special projects, and new business development opportunities.
Conduct research on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy and clean tech space.
Lead detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis using methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and comparable company analysis; perform sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of varying project assumptions and risks.
Monitor energy project pipelines, auction outcomes, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activity in target markets.
Train and mentor junior investment professionals in a matrixed organization
Present and defend analyses and approval requests to senior leadership with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate project risks.

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in energy project development, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or renewable energy infrastructure.
Previous involvement in due diligence processes across different stages of energy project development.

MBA, CA or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Familiarity with project finance structures, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), debt financing, and risk allocation mechanisms, is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Direct experience with utility-scale energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, or distributed generation.
Ability to analyze in detail key project contracts, legal documents, and due diligence reports such as market studies and independent engineer reports.
Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
Experience working with external consultants (such as tax, legal, technical, environmental) on infrastructure transactions.
Skilled writer and communicator who can exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way.
Demonstrated passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and infrastructure investing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
