  • Upon receipt of a corrective work request, respond within 15 minutes to determine priority (P1, 2 or 3) and resources needed to resolve the issue.
  • Establish relationships with ASML production leadership on their assigned shift to ensure good communication when issues arise.
  • Ensure employees are trained in the safe operation of equipment.
  • May need to support non-customary schedules and weekend work
  • Monitor list of PM’s that can be bundled with reactive WO’s.
  • Ensure training program includes cross-training.
  • Work with Planner/Scheduler to ensure technician availability for PM’s and reactive work.
  • Update site manager on reactive work status (2-hour cycle)
  • Provide daily objectives and priorities for all teammates and vendors working on your assigned shift.
  • Manage Issues arising on their shift to completion utilizing and directing EMCOR Technicians and/or subcontractors. If Issue cannot be resolved, establish a short term corrective action to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Update site manager by EOB daily on the effectiveness of bundling.
  • Document discussions with Craft personnel
  • Performs building / WO audits in the field Documenting and reporting the status of critical equipment and processes during the shift.
  • Execute the escalation process as outlined by the process.
  • Facilitate Shift Turnover Mtg insuring all paperwork is completed for their assigned shift.
  • Abides by all safety guidelines including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out, etc. Driving the EMCOR Operating and Safety Culture within their assigned crew.
  • Ensure the assigned technician has list of PM’s that can be bundled to reactive WO.
  • Maintain employees’ training records and the operations that they are authorized to perform.
  • Responsible for determining plan to resolve any issues arising on their assigned shift. If root cause is not able to be repaired, establish a short-term plan to maximize production uptime and a long-term plan to resolve the root cause. Take Ownership of the issue and manage crew and/or vendor to execute the established plan.
  • Ensure the assigned employees are in their assigned work area.
  • Ensure all employees are wearing proper PPE.
  • Facilitate meetings with assigned crew to include shift turnover, Daily Safety Toolbox, Weekly safety, and any production meetings assigned during shift.

  • Able to function with dynamic priorities, adapting to changing customer expectations and completing work requests efficiently with high quality standards. This may include taking the initiative to productively manage unexpected downtime, remaining productive while contributing to high quality results.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in 1 or more crafts, such as HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, various operating systems
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or graphic form. Key elements include the ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Reactive work planning and execution.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required, preference given to those with some undergraduate, trade or business school training.
  • Proven track record of completing projects / WOs, being self-motivated and achieving customer satisfaction
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to send/receive emails and be able to manage an email box. Must be able to operate the work order system.
  • Maintains working knowledge of all critical building utilities
  • 2+ years of experience managing craft personnel
  • Understanding of the facilities industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields
  • Able to competently operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift
