The Assistant Service Manager assumes supervisory responsibility for the maintenance function when the Service Manager is unavailable, performing a variety of mechanical, construction, and supervisory tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Consistent attendance is essential to maintain workflow and communication within the team.
Key duties include overseeing all managerial and administrative tasks in the Service Manager’s absence, performing skilled work such as HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, carpentry, welding, and electrical repairs, responding promptly to service calls, and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment. The role also involves supervising on-site maintenance and repairs for assigned properties.
