Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
Working with lead designer and engineer to scope out projects and establish project objectives.
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Conducting option studies in relation to site layouts.
Design, model, detail, and draft 3D models and 2D drawings of Grading Design, concrete, and steel structures.
Coordinating work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, etc.
Performing civil structural modelling using governing codes and industry standards and experience.
Creating, organizing, and updating drawings for FEED and detail design.
Preparing quantity estimates for projects within the department.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency with the following required: Civil3D & AutoCAD 2D and 3D.

Proven civil structural design experience in EPC or consulting company.
Ability to establish and maintain positive client and project team relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Post-secondary education in Civil Structural Engineering/Design diploma.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Proficiency with the following an asset: ProSteel, SmartPlant, CADWorx or Microstation, Navisworks.
