The Concierge – On Call serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers, handling administrative tasks, greeting guests, and facilitating communication throughout the community. The role requires punctuality, a professional appearance, and the ability to manage phone calls, mail, and visitor logs while supporting departmental leaders with various office functions. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment are essential to the position.
- Execute signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
- Participate in professional development, training, and personal coaching programs
- Utilize financial and legal services offered by the employer
- Arrive on time and prepared for each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized front entrance, lobby, and reception area
- Greet visitors warmly and offer assistance as needed
- Answer telephone calls within three rings using a professional script
- Transfer calls and deliver messages accurately
- Monitor visitor sign‑in/out and report suspicious activity promptly
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Accept and report residents’ special requests
- Maintain the community’s lost and found system
- Order and replenish administrative supplies as required
- Follow safety standards when operating office equipment
- Support department heads and executive directors with administrative functions
- Track meal attendance and alert staff for room‑service needs
- Uphold a professional image in dress and behavior consistent with MBK principles
- Encourage teamwork through open communication with team members
- Provide negative TB test results
- Operate computers and standard office software (Word, Email, Excel, scanners, copiers, fax)
- Maintain professional demeanor with residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Adhere to grooming and dress standards
- Safely push residents in wheelchairs when needed
