Responsible for conducting and/or leading IH sampling, conducting IH exposure assessments, documenting site activities, results analysis and interpretation, and making written recommendations related to health and safety on projects with a variety of complex site conditions.
With support from the Department/Operations Manager develop and manage employee staffing plans, recruitment, selection and on-boarding.
Prepare reports documenting the findings of surveys and communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
Review technical reports prepared by Group members to ensure quality and accuracy of reported findings.
Lead safety efforts and ensure the Group follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment, demonstrating safety practices, and promoting pre-task planning for all projects.
Manage and mentor junior staff.
Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
With support from the Department/Operations Manager perform business and client development activities.

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Strong technical background in asbestos, lead, and IH surveys and abatement planning/oversight.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field and a minimum of 10 years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years’ related experience.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail in all aspects of work and proposal preparation assignments.
Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risks. Be familiar with company risk policies.
