  • Designing and building integrations and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This includes using services like SAP Integration Suite for connecting SAP systems with each other or with third-party applications.
  • Responsible for the technical design and development of systems that meet specifications, requirements, and overall business needs.
  • Strictly following the established governance rules and development guidelines to prevent "unclean" code from being introduced.
  • The Lead Enterprise Systems & Technical Operations is the go-to person for designing technical solutions. This includes making critical decisions on architecture, technologies, and frameworks. She/he will be the key focal point for day-to-day enterprise systems technical operations and support and interact directly with IT, business, and partners.
  • Collaborating with functional SME’s and key users to build extensions using lowcode/no-code tools and frameworks available directly in S/4HANA
  • Ensure 24/7 operations and support across all enterprise systems
  • Ensure all enterprise applications are supported with repeatable best practices including ITIL oriented Incident Management, Problem Management, Release Management, and Tier support models
  • Provide clear and transparent feedback to IT peers, senior leadership, and business teams
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for identifying and managing technical debt. This involves proactively refactoring code, recommending improvements, and ensuring that new development doesn't create future problems.
  • Work with project managers and Application owners to break down high-level business requirements into detailed technical tasks, estimate timelines, and allocate work.
  • Continuously optimize practices, processes, techniques including driving these with partners
  • Cultivate a customer / employee orientation across all team members and peer teams
  • Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions .
  • Provide technical guidance to the team, helping developers resolve roadblocks, debug complex issues, and understand new technologies.

  • Detail oriented, Proactive, persistent, passionate, creative, flexible, and dependable
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management industry and related products – OpenText products preferred. Understanding of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, MPC, etc.) is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
  • SaaS and Cloud: A strong understanding of SaaS applications, public APIs, and integration patterns (e.g., REST, OData).
  • SAP Activate and test methodologies knowledge
  • Minimum of 6 -10 years of experience with SAP development and support in the ISU and ERP and experience with at least two full SAP system implementations
  • Primary technical point of contact for other teams and must be able to translate complex technical concepts into language that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
  • Expertise in user experience (UX) and developing modern, responsive, and rolebased applications.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and development
  • Masters or MBA preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems / Accounting or Business or related field of Engineering

  • Understanding of SAP finance integration with different modules/systems
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager CCLM (Decommissioning cockpit, ATC etc.).
  • Understand modern integration patterns, particularly the use of released APIs and events for connecting systems.
  • Deep Technical Knowledge in modern SAP: Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), and SAP BTP.
  • Strong customer and user experience focus
  • Experience with writing code using modern ABAP syntax and patterns, such as the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for building Fiori apps and OData services
  • Hands-on development skills with Strong ABAP/4 Programming experience including SmartForms, User-exits, BADI’s, AMDP, RESTful APIs and SAP Gateway, UI5, HTML5 (including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL), Fiori, and SAP Web Dynpro, BRF+ framework
  • Understanding of SAP ISU Utilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Good presentation skills engaging a variety of audiences potentially up to the EL
  • Knowledgeable about the different ways to extend the SAP core without modifying it.
  • Proficiently using the ABAP Cloud development model, which restricts developers to a specific set of released APIs and objects.
  • Strategic skills to develop long term visions and the ability to translate them into actionable roadmaps that are broadly accepted
  • 6-10 years development experience in ABAP/JAVA (SAP Stack) on ECC/ERP 6.0 or later releases and S/4 HANA with an emphasis on ERP and ISU Modules.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly diagnose and solve complex technical problems, often under pressure.
  • Leadership without Authority: The ability to influence and guide a team based on technical credibility and expertise rather than formal authority.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end development process
