The Assistant Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical operations, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
In this position you will manage electrical systems installation and commissioning, power and utility management, compliance and safety standards, contractor and vendor relationships, and project coordination and reporting. You will collaborate with civil, mechanical and automation teams, resolve issues, track progress, and ensure the client‑Cushman & Wakefield contract is implemented.
The ideal candidate holds a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 15 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and automation within food & beverage or FMCG environments. They have successfully delivered one to two FMCG/Beverage construction projects end‑to‑end, preferably with a project‑management consultancy background, and possess technical awareness of civil, electromechanical and architectural works along with strong organizational, motivational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
