The ideal candidate for this programmer position must have strong technical skills, be a proficient problem solver, and excel in a team environment. Expertise in HVAC controls and building automation programming is essential.
Candidates need at least one year of relevant experience (e.g., robotics, PLC, machining, software) or three years in graphic design, a basic understanding of HVAC systems, and familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript or Python. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, attention‑to‑detail, and organizational skills are required.
Additional experience as an HVAC controls technician or programmer, knowledge of Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Andover Continuum, Tridium Niagara, and building automation protocols (LON, BACnet, Modbus) is preferred. An associate’s degree in a related field is also beneficial.
