- overseeing production of calculations and reports to support those designs,
- producing business cases and proposals to enable our clients to fund their projects,
- working with our construction partners to improve safety of designs and understand and improve the construction process,
- undertaking strategic studies, feasibility work, outline and detailed designs for a wide variety of water utilities projects including water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and reservoir dam safety,
- working directly with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to their problems,
- ensuring our designs take account of buildability, sustainability, H&S and environmental requirements.

- Previous experience in the water sector is desirable although not essential, we would look for technical skills transferrable to an engineering role in the water sector.
- Self-motivated and effective team player.
- At Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers or another relevant institution. We may consider candidates without this designation if they have suitable experience and can demonstrate a track record of carrying out work at a similar level.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Desire to support and mentor more junior engineers towards achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
