Overview
1967
Year Founded
The division was established in Waukegan, Illinois, marking the beginning of its journey in precision motion control.
As a subsidiary of Japan’s Yaskawa Electric, it blends global R&D with local manufacturing and testing of drives and controllers.
Financially anchored by a steady lineup of AC drives, servo motors, HVAC units and motion controllers, it thrives on reliability.
Typical deployments include CNC machining, packaging lines, HVAC systems, conveyors, plastics molding and pharmaceutical equipment.
Its specialisms span industries including automotive, food & beverage, packaging, pharmaceuticals, HVAC, chemical and more.
Unusual fact: its Illinois plant is renowned for QA rigor—every unit is full-power tested on the line and screws are counted at each station.
It supports both standard catalog products and custom-tailored solutions, adapting drive configurations to niche applications.
