The Senior Production Team Leader will manage a production area at the Millsdale Plant, overseeing environmental health & safety (EH&S), quality, and cost/productivity while providing supervisory leadership to approximately 30 production operators and driving a lean culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include managing and closing open EH&S and PSCA assignments, leading daily production meetings, coordinating with EH&S, QA, Maintenance, PPIC and other service groups, utilizing tactical planning tools to track initiatives, overseeing maintenance turnarounds, proposing budgets with cost‑benefit analyses, leading incident investigations, and fostering a team‑building environment.
- Manage production area performance, including EH&S, quality, and reliability.
- Oversee and close open EH&S and PSCA assignments in a timely manner.
- Lead daily production meetings and prioritize efforts with cross‑functional service groups.
- Utilize tactical planning tools to monitor progress on key initiatives.
- Plan and execute overall maintenance turnaround scopes and execution plans.
- Develop tactical and strategic proposals to improve service levels.
- Prepare capital and expense budgets with cost/benefit analysis.
- Conduct or lead incident investigations and approve corrective actions.
- Manage hourly performance and development of approximately 30 operators.
- Foster a team‑building environment and prioritize process improvement efforts.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015, EFfCI, FSSC 22000, Kosher, Halal, RSPO, ISCC+, and related certifications.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, at least five years of manufacturing/chemical industry experience, five years of supervisory experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and understand chemical processes and unit operations.
Benefits
