Assisting in producing, reviewing, revising, and interpreting technical documents; assisting in designing, fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, test fixtures, and prototypes.
Structural inspection of towers and tower components at heights in excess of 50 feet, but not to exceed 750 feet.
The Contractor shall complete all tasks in accordance with applicable FAA and FAALC standards, orders, technical instructions, and quality procedures.

Equipment repair processes may include functions such as performance analysis, equipment disassembly/assembly, troubleshooting and correction of electrical, electronic, or mechanical malfunctions, parts replacement, painting and composite structures.

The Contractor may be required to perform adjustment, test, and certification functions for this equipment.

Installation of equipment and components, and modifications.
The Contractor shall perform equipment and component performance analyses to determine operating characteristics and parameters, to aid in fault isolation and identification, and to verify equipment functions under variable conditions.
Labor includes, but not limited to, installation, removal and maintenance of communication antennae, surveillance systems, safety wire, tower guy wire pull-off shackles and tower obstruction lighting systems.

Due to safety and operational requirements mandated by our government customer, all engineering technicians are required to successful complete a physical fitness evaluation, which includes specific weight restrictions of minimum 125lbs and maximum of 290lbs.
Must possess TWO forms of unexpired identification to meet eligibility requirements.
Ability to work at heights.
Tower Climbing / Work at heights in excess of 50’.
Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551).
Rope repelling / on rope work at heights.
certificate of U.S. Citizenship or Naturalization.
Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired.
A valid driver's license is required.

Position requires traveling, up to 70%, and may entail emergency call outs for corrective maintenance as required.
Due to the limitations of fall protection gear, the minimum weight for an applicant is 125lbs, the maximum weight is 290lbs.

NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
