Carry out minor ground preparation to ensure safe access points for drainage works.
Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
Maintain a clean and professional standard of reinstatement where required.
Assist drainage teams by preparing access routes and maintaining clear working areas.
Adhere to all company policies
Ensure that any ideas that may enhance the productivity or systems of the company are brought to the attention of Senior Management, or your colleagues
Safely operate hand tools and powered equipment (e.g., strimmer, hedge cutter, brush cutter…).
Perform asset maintenance checks on a variety of drainage assets including anti flood devices, non-return valves, combined sewer overflows and other drainage elements.
Work in accordance with health, safety, and environmental procedures, including safe use of tools and PPE.
Remove and correctly dispose of green waste and debris from site.
Check condition of any drainage assets uncovered ensuring they are left safe, escalating where an environmental or customer safety risk is present.
Perform scoping for follow on activities as appropriate.
Report any site hazards, damage, or obstructions encountered.
