Utility Worker - PRN

Description

The position involves operating the dishwasher safely, loading appropriate cleaning chemicals, removing damaged items, stocking food and non‑food supplies, emptying garbage, breaking down boxes, and performing deep cleaning of kitchen equipment. Workers must follow Senior Lifestyle standards, attend training, uphold safety practices to prevent accidents, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and coworkers.

• Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen per Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate dishwashing machine according to procedure manual.
• Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
• Remove from service any damaged or broken dishes, utensils, and glassware.
• Stock delivered food and non‑food items.
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.
• Attend all training and in‑service seminars.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and following safe practices.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co‑workers.
• Must be 18 years old or have a worker’s permit.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Must pass state and federal background check and drug test.
• COVID‑19 vaccination required unless exempt for medical, religious, or personal reasons.
