Monitor design input need date and data required to execute the piping design works.
Align the piping design output (such as piping isometric drawing, pipe spool drawing, etc) with construction team to ensure all the information required by construction teams are incorporated.
Responsible for ensuring that all works meet scope and technical quality of the project and comply with project requirements.
Prepare project planning include but not limited to work scopes, responsible matrix, manhours and softwares, interface matrix.
Ensure proper communication and workflow are well established between piping designing team with construction team. Monitor the compliance between piping construction drawing (piping isometric and pipe support drawing) with the latest 3D model.
Review/comments vendor certified Document (VCD).
Review/comments piping arrangement, isometric and pipe supports drawings from piping designers.
Align the piping design input data and need date with the respective stakeholders to define the piping design output forecast date.
Lead a group of piping engineers and designers for project execution or/and monitor the work executed by engineering design house where applicable.
Prepare Master Document List (MDL) for overall piping design related work scopes with forecast date based-on Master Project Schedule.
Monitor all the hotwork, tank’s coating and drydocking related activities where applicable.
Ensure proper communication and workflow are well established between piping stress team with pipe routine and pipe support designer team. Closely monitor the compliance between piping 3D model with the latest pipe stress analysis report.
Monitor the piping design database completeness (such as 3D model attributes, etc) to meet the project Digital Engineering requirements.
Provide support to piping construction, QA/QC and other non-engineering design related activities such as inspection, coating, painting, welding, test packages, etc
Monitor P&ID revisions and ensure the compliance between piping 3D model with latest P&ID.
Review and monitor project budget related to piping especially for manhour and software utilization, exotic and high-cost material purchase, warehouse balance material utilization, etc.
Monitor all the hold items that affecting piping design completeness.
Interface with vendor, other discipline lead, procurement, production, commissioning.
Monitor 3D model clash and design review comments / punch lists.
Onboard vessel to carry out inspection at site.
Monitor and control drawing revisions especially when construction already started.
Review/comments on piping calculations carry out by other piping engineers/ subcontractors (e.g. pipe stress analysis report, flow master report, surge analysis report).
Monitor all the piping related interface points.
Prepare and raise technical query (TQF) and engineering variation order (EVO) related to piping for additional work scopes.

Understand equipment layout plan (include escape route, maintenance space, mechanical handling, other equipment).
Prefer to have experience in FPSO project, both topsides & marine.
Good skill in Excel is preferred.
Understand Class and Regulatory Requirement, Piping, Special Item and Valve Material Specification.
Prefer to have experience in Offshore/Shipyard project, Rig building/Ship building.
