Utilize one or more non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to verify the quality and acceptability of welded and machined parts.
Perform first article inspections on parts, assemblies, equipment, and tooling; prepare summary reports and diagnostics as needed.

Enter, maintain, and extract data from Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, noncompliance tracking tools, and configuration management systems.
Ensure all work complies with the correct configuration revision and meets applicable drawings, specifications, and standards.
Conduct routine visual inspections (CWI), dimensional checks, and mechanical evaluations on welded and machined components and assemblies following established guidelines.

VT Level II certification plus certification in one or more of the following Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques:
Magnetic Particle (MT)
Proven experience interpreting complex dimensional drawings, weld standards, and specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) performing inspections of increasing complexity. (This role is not for a new graduate of a welding program).
Frequently required to climb stairs, steps, and ladders
Frequently required to work on elevated platforms.
Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
AWS Certified Visual Weld Inspector Associate
Occasionally lift and move at most 40 pounds.
Ability to obtain and maintain one of the following:
Dye Penetrant (PT)
Strong knowledge of advanced measuring techniques and ability to apply them in inspection processes.
