A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience, plus 10+ years of progressive HV/substation work, is required.

- Strong knowledge of protection and control systems, including relay logic, settings, event reports, and disturbance analysis.
- Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems, inverter‑based resources, and grid integration challenges (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or extensive technical field experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 10+ years progressive experience in high‑voltage and substation operations, maintenance, commissioning, or engineering.
- Demonstrated substation operations and maintenance experience.
- High technical expertise in substation design, protection systems, and operation, plus understanding of utility‑scale solar facilities and HV/MV infrastructure.
- Ability to organize workload and priorities for self and team.
- Self‑starter able to work with limited supervision.
- Flexible approach in fast‑paced, changing business; maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong problem‑solver focusing on appropriate detail and proposing effective solutions.
- Quick learner of systems and processes.
- Willingness to take on transactional duties.
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail.
