Production Supervisor - Installer

Description

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Accountable for the supervision of assigned project processes, including adherence to safety requirements, and standard work operations.
• Drive the application of Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts to achieve measurable and sustainable improvements for assigned project processes.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager to provide tactical input on manufacturing support and execution.
• Provide overall supervision for assigned project processes, including achieving performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Supervise production morale and key process metrics.
• All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.
• Train, mentor, and grow production team members to build a high performing and engaged workforce.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence consistent with RK Mission Critical values.
• Supervise manufacturing personnel, ensuring alignment, engagement, development, and retention of talent.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiency and waste reduction.
• Participate in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, including hazard analysis, safety procedures, and team member skill assessment.

Requirements

• Minimal travel is required.
• 1 year of Lean Manufacturing is beneficial.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong understanding of production process, quality control requirements, and safety regulations.
• Requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking within the plant.

• Excellent time management skill; Operates with a sense of urgency.
• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Results oriented, with excellent execution capability.
• Proven supervision competencies with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch.
