Machine Operator (formerly ND Industries)

Description

• Prepare raw materials and packaging, transport to production area, and report deviations.
• Operate processing equipment according to instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.
• Perform initial testing and release products to ensure specification compliance.
• Verify labels and packaging materials for correct labeling.
• Package final products following quality standards.
• Follow quality, operating, and EHS regulations in all operations.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
• Use hands to lift boxes; stretch and reach with extended arms.
• Work in normal chemical environment with temperature, dust, odor and noise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to read work orders, process instructions, safety and quality procedures.
• Availability to work in shifts.
• One year of experience in an industrial setting.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Stand for long periods; walk and climb stairs.
• Stoop and bend regularly.
• Lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 100 lb with assistance.

Pay for this position starts at $20.53 per hour, with compensation influenced by education, experience, certifications and location. H.B.
