Coordinate and plan quality related meetings including After Action Reviews, Close Calls, and Lessons Learned.
Conduct regular inspections and audits.
Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify quality requirements and ensure compliance.
Provide first choice customer service to all customers, clients, and business partners.
Provide regular reports on quality control activities, including progress, findings, and recommendations to project teams and management.
This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
Manage several projects at one time.
Regular participation in Pre-Construction and Pre-Installation planning and meetings.
Facilitate non-conformance and deficiency resolution processes, working closely with stakeholders to address and correct quality issues in a timely manner.
Monitor and document all quality control activities, including testing, inspections, and corrective actions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Interrupted frequently to meet the needs and request of team members, and outside vendors.
Develop and implement project-specific quality control plans in accordance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company standards.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure proper implementation of quality control measures throughout all project phases.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.
Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Quality Control role.
Familiarity with industry quality control standards and methodologies, such as ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, AWS, AWWA, and AISC.
The ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a maximum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.
Travel may be required for this position.
Excellent understanding of construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team environment, are vital aspects of the role.
Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies, are necessary for performing work safely and effectively.
This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.
This position may occasionally require outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
Ability to manage and lead Quality Control Engineers on multiple project sites.
