Site Superintendent

Description

• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate daily reporting, site documentation, RFIs, and deficiency management
• Lead site meetings and ensure trades maintain productivity and compliance
• Oversee all site activities for ground-up ICI projects, including institutional additions and new build facilities
• Manage excavation, shoring, underground services, concrete, structural framing, envelope, and MEP sequencing
• Ensure strict adherence to building codes, drawings, and company standards
• Work closely with the Project Manager on schedules, updates, and problem-solving

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with institutional or municipal new build projects
• Strong knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites across Ottawa
• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Supervisor on ICI ground-up construction
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced sites with multiple trades
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
