Structural Modeler - Precast

Description

• Organize and maintain project folders, backups, and drawing archives in accordance with company procedures.
• Participate in internal kickoff meetings and coordinate with external design teams.
• Convert 2D structural drawings into 3D Revit models following ERA standards.
• Participate in post-mortem reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform structural drafting and design services using Revit, including modifying existing and creating new structural documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure consistency and clarity across all documents.
• Maintain quality control and accountability for the integrity of the Revit model throughout all design phases.
• Ensure drawing sets are complete, accurate, and aligned with project milestones.
• Assist with shop drawings and submittals reviews, RFI’s responses, and field coordination as needed.
• Perform internal QA reviews and support interdisciplinary coordination.
• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and construction- level drawings and make revisions as needed.
• Support the construction team by ensuring timely updates to models and drawings.
• Ensure all work adheres to ERA’s drawing standards, file management protocols, and client-specific requirements.
• Review architectural and engineering documents to develop coordinated structural models.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project scope, schedule, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced deadline centered driven environment.
• Strong understanding of structural systems and construction documentation.
• 6-9 years of experience in structural modeling with at least 3 years in precast concrete projects.
• Associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, design technology or related field( bachelor's preferred).
• HSA , Dependent FSA , HRA
• Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD; Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud ACC, Desktop Connector preferred.
