What you would be doing

  • Communicate to line management at the earliest appropriate opportunity if in receipt of information that is important to the reputation or integrity of DNV
  • Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines and quality requirements of DNV
  • Exhibit customer-oriented focus through promoting DNV onboard or on-site and by acting as a technical resource for customer questions
  • Maintain the confidentiality of clients' business, processes, designs, developments and documentation
  • When applicable, supervise the work of others and ensure that it is carried out as above and in an efficient and economic manner.

  • Technical competencies: Understanding of class, statutory surveyor work and responsibilities
  • Flexibility in travelling and solid willingness to take unscheduled job calls when required
  • Looking for candidates with 0–2 years of experience in the Marine industry. Fresh graduates with a passion for the field are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage digitalization and new business opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or relevant degree
