Preparation of proposals and input into bids for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Managing project teams including working with the local and wider AtkinsRéalis teams across Ireland and the UK.
You will work closely with our project managers, internal/external design teams, planners and our clients to schedule and monitor work programs, mitigate risk to program delivery and plan internal resources accordingly.
Can motivate, mentor and provide guidance to staff on the environmental team.
Project management of a wide variety of projects (transport, energy etc.) ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high technical standards.
You will also establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our sub-consultants.
Responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex projects/programs on accelerated delivery timelines.
Is capable of organising, managing and delivering large / strategic environmental projects, including EIARs and non-statutory environmental reports.
Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors and other internal disciplines.

Chartered Membership of relevant professional body.
Proven track record in project management of major environmental projects and development of bids.
Masters qualified in a relevant specialism preferred, but not essential.
Proven track record in technical report writing and ability to complete technical reports to required best practice standards.
Demonstrable experience working on different types of projects (transport, energy etc.).
Has excellent project management skills, including technical delivery, management of finances, client liaison and programme delivery on complex and/or multi-disciplinary projects.
Degree qualified in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject (e.g. environmental science, sustainability, air and climate, noise, geology, hydrogeology etc).
Excellent working knowledge and demonstrable understanding of relevant planning and environmental legislation, and technical guidance and industry standards / best practice, particularly in relation to the preparation of EIARs.
You must have relevant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment, specifically in the preparation and co-ordination of EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports etc.
Experience of providing technical support and mentoring as part of a team.
Combines excellent organisational, technical, numerical and communication skills to demonstrate logical thinking and concise reporting.
