Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state where you will primarily deliver work or EIT with the expectation to obtain PE within one year.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
Highly effective time prioritization.
Experience working on design elements of any of the following: traffic signals, roundabouts, service interchanges, bicycle/pedestrian projects, signing and striping, and construction traffic control plans.
Solid understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D, AutoCAD, and/or Microstation, InRoads, Open Roads Designer.
4-8 years of experience related to technical focus areas referenced above.
Background in three-dimensional roadway, intersection, interchange, or multimodal design.
Technical proficiency in transportation design and/or operations related to the focus areas mentioned above.
Experience in preparation and development of construction documents and supporting reports, plans, quantities, and estimates using highway design manuals, NCHRP guidelines, AASHTO policies, MUTCD, and local design criteria.
