The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and financial reporting. Compensation is $21‑$23 per hour with quarterly bonuses and commissions; the schedule is Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm.
- Collect and process rent payments, track resident accounts, issue late notices, and assist with collections/write‑offs.
- Coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs, including inspections, documentation, and deposit accounting.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Oversee maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Manage lease renewals, violations, and notices in compliance with policies.
- Support marketing efforts and community outreach to drive occupancy.
- Conduct leasing tours, process applications, and prepare lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and resident files.
- Assist with invoices, financial reporting, occupancy reporting, delinquency tracking, and monthly/annual reporting.
- Monitor and achieve community goals such as renewals, occupancy, turn times, and maintain at least a 35 % rental closing ratio.
- Support resident retention by organizing occasional events or initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
- Represent the company professionally and positively at all times.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of bookkeeping or related experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Preferred qualifications include two years of sales experience, property‑management software proficiency, and a passion for community leadership.

- Experience with property‑management software such as Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Appwork, or CRM (preferred).
