Quantity Surveyor

Description

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the senior commercial team to ensure effective cost management across the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their QS career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

• Attend site visits and progress meetings
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Support procurement activities, including subcontractor inquiries and comparisons
• Help manage project cost control, valuations, and variations
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Assist in preparing financial reports and cash flow forecasts

Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office; experience with QS software beneficial
• Degree (or working towards one) in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role (placement year experience welcome)
• Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
