What you would be doing

Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve any issues during UAT.
Document data definitions and relationships to ensure clarity and consistency
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all solutions and pipelines.
Conduct root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions.
Lead innovation in data science applications for operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Champion data quality and governance practices.
Translate business requirements into optimized logical and physical models.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Provide solutions to ensure UAT readiness in Snowflake and PowerBI.
Collaboration with the COE team to ensure platform scalability and maintainability.
End-to-end data pipelines such as rent rolls, effective rent models, and financial forecasting.
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management using DBT and Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure the ADF pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Create technical solutions using Python and SQL to meet business requirements.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Lead, motivate, and manage the COE Data Engineers (offshore), providing guidance and support.
Implement data validation processes and ensure compliance with governance policies.
Build semantic layers and curated datasets for tools like Power BI and Snowflake.
Develop and document data models for key performance metrics.
Identify opportunities for technical data improvement.
Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.
Design system level architecture with some lower-level feature design.
Work closely with the VP of Technology to align technical feasibility with business goals.
Design scalable data models to support analytics, forecasting, and reporting.
Apply best practices in dimensional modeling, including Star Schema design.

What you bring

Strong knowledge of data governance and quality standards.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity in source code management tools (such as Azure-Devops and Git)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in technical solution design, ETL development pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory, and data pipeline management.
Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
