Overview
Leads project execution for real estate development from due diligence to construction start.

Tasks
-Identify key site development challenges, processes and requirements; coordinate with Operations and Construction teams in problem-solving -Assist in the evaluation of new land opportunities, including property due diligence, market research, proforma analyses, and site plans to determine feasibility for investment and development. -Represent and promote the O+E brand in public forums, industry events, etc. -Manage and coordinate all efforts to obtain governmental approvals, permits, and rights required for assigned projects. -Responsible for the execution of new projects by leading the engineering, design and entitlements processes to hit company goals -Maintain project dashboards including calendars, critical dates, design status, entitlement milestones, and legal items, to ensure land purchaser obligations and jurisdictional deadlines are being met. -Assist in preparation of Investment Committee and finance packages by ensuring data such as concept plans/specs, market studies, proposals, budgets, and schedules are accurate and timely. -Establish and maintain key relationships with market professionals, government leaders, and other key stakeholders. -Manage due diligence processes including environmental studies, title review, geotech, surveys, etc. -Assist Finance team with creating proformas and development related closing documentation. -Assemble, negotiate contracts for, and manage external development team members - including due diligence, engineering and legal professionals; architecture as needed. -Conduct development coordination meetings in conjunction with Operations and Construction teams to ensure implementation of development vision and achievement of target milestones.

-Experience with graphics and technology -Keen attention to detail and accuracy -Stress tolerance -Experience with site development and construction -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Willingness and ability to travel -Minimum of five years of experience in engineering, real estate acquisitions, development, construction or urban/city planning -Proven analytical and problem solving skills -Strong project management and negotiation capabilities -A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally specializing in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Urban Planning -Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
