Mortenson is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager I for its Civil Group, responsible for leading large excavation projects supporting renewables and site development. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, proactive problem‑solving, and strong written and verbal communication.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience.
- Possess at least six years of experience, preferably with large self‑perform excavation projects.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities; experience in commercial construction, renewable energy, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple project tasks and basic knowledge of construction law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management, and relevant web applications at an intermediate level.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and be prepared for 100 % travel with monthly home rotations.
Benefits
