Design Engineer – Structure – EPC projects

Description

• Structure drawings – Details, Plan & Elevation drawing, layouts, Foundation drawings.
• Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered & commissioning support.
• Preparation MTO, BOM from Structural 3D Models.
• MTOs/BOMs, NWD models, Clash checks, Vendor Drawing Review.
• Preparation of Technical Specification for Structural Components, RFQ finalization & Vendor Drawings review.
• Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• 3D Model Review, Clash Check and Resolution.

Requirements

Qualification: MTech/BE/B.Tech/ in Civil/ Structural Engineering

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

• Flexible and quick to learn global developments in EPC- Oil & Gas projects technologies and adopt.
• MTech/BE/B.Tech/ in Civil/ Structural Engineering with 8-10 years of Oil and Gas/ Power Plant Experience.
• Structural Member optimization and Structural Analysis using STAAD Pro.
• 2D Drawing Generation, generation of Definition Drawings, Foundation drawings.
• Ability to expand the competency domain, being able to take new learning challenges.
• Structural Engineering Design Codes & Standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, OSHA etc
• Structural Analysis using STAAD Pro
• Definition drawings, 3D Modelling, Smart attributes
• 3D Modelling using Autodesk Advance Steel, Revit.
• Structural Member design, Connection design, Foundation Design, Pipe Rack design, Loading and load assessment.
• Working experience with 3D Design Tools: Advance Steel, Revit, Tekla, STAAD Pro. AutoCAD & E3D.
• Ability to guide/support team and execute project in line with client/project requirement.
• Strong interpersonal, responsive and leadership skills.
