Description

• Develop & maintain a thorough competitor analysis.
• Analyze statistics on facility usage and revenue generation to ensure optimal usage of terminal, gathering, and pipeline assets.
• Assist with project evaluation, including developing economic cases for project approval.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for customer meetings and opportunities.
• Evaluate trading opportunities and associated risks to maximize value for storage and pipeline assets.
• Develop internal and external relationships, ascertain customer requirements, resolve operating problems, commercial disputes and increase revenue.
• Develop relationships with scheduling, field operations and engineering on project development and asset optimization efforts.
• Review new customers to form strategic partnerships and business alliances.

Requirements

• Must possess a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
• The main objective is to become familiar with the petrochemical business in the gulf coast, including knowledge of the pipeline distribution systems, storage assets, producers, consumers and competitors in the space. You will also gain experience in the Commercial, Marketing and Trading, Construction, Operation and Business Development areas throughout the US Gulf Coast, including export projects and opportunities.
• Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
• Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Business or Engineering
• Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
