Project Engineer

Description

The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Conduct site visits to inspect work quality and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.
• Work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support the Project Manager in resolving any issues that arise during construction.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on engineering-related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a project engineering role within the commercial construction industry.
• Strong project pipeline
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
