Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems as a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech on 3rd shift.
Work in various locations, including confined spaces, and at varied heights using fall protection, permits, and other safety processes and procedures as required including but not limited to lockout/tagout.
Work with Operations team members and leaders in work area to ensure uptime on equipment and repairs complete and effective with operations team.
Document and report any issues to your supervisor.
Share learnings and train/cross train with coworkers to ensure knowledge is shared by maintenance team.
Maintain and provide timely records of work performed, including completing work orders and document usage of spare parts daily.
Adhere to and follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
Perform troubleshooting, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
Communicate equipment/plant status as required.
Perform routine preventive Maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, mechanical parts, electrical wiring, and related components.
Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
Operate a variety of lifts etc.
Monitor equipment proper function via routine inspection and daily observation.
Actively participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.

Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is at times very hot or very cold, and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts)
Experience with PLC’s, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Experience using technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
Employee must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment with large manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform basic computer functions: use SAP, eSafety, MESH Prism
Able to read ladder logic and utilize PLC for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
Familiarity with DC and AC power up to three phase 480-volt AC.
Dexterity for and ability to operate equipment, machinery, and computers (including Windows and MSOffice as well as industrial software)
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including work with AC, DC circuits, single-phase and three-phase power.
Familiarity with safety standards such as electrical safety, arc flash, and lock out/tag out
Working knowledge of equipment operations, tooling, machining operations, and product.
Able to stand on feet continuously during shift and able to lift 50 lbs without assistance (40 lbs routinely)
Experience with CNC machining a plus
Ability to communicate effectively and work with all employees throughout plant.
Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA-70E requirements.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Familiarity with basic mechanical principles/basic knowledge of shop maintenance tools
Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves and hearing protection.
Capable of welding, pipe fitting, rigging
Vocational certificate or associate degree in electromechanics
