Construction Management Graduates

Description

Assistant Project Managers are responsible for helping Project Managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating of various Life Safety projects. They will be working closely with Project Managers assisting with daily tasks such as coordination of projects, submittals, RFIs, estimates, and various other duties.

• Assist in preparing status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Assist in producing financial projections.
• Assist in the organization and management of various industrial electrical projects.
• Assist in maintaining a viable and positive relationship with the customer.
• Assist the project staff in outlining the work plan and assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Assist with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems.
• Assist the onsite superintendent with duties specific to the project.
• Help coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports for management, clients, or others.

Requirements

This is intended to be an entry-level position for someone who is looking to start a career in project management. Ideal candidates for this position have recently graduated with a Construction Management degree, or have some equivalent work experience in Project Management. Having prior industrial electrical experience is a huge plus.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Construction Management degree required

• Must be able to cooperatively work with others.
• Current driver's license and have transportation to the office
• Must be able to handle stress and job demands.
• Detail-oriented professional with exceptional problem-solving skills who loves new challenges and has a drive for results.
• College graduate with a construction-related degree, or equivalent work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
