Head of Compliance

Provides property and facilities management services across multiple sectors.
Lead compliance for M&E services, overseeing regulations, audits, supplier onboarding and team.
Conduct regular internal compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure that business operations align with legal standards and best practices.
Drive a culture of compliance across the business by delivering training and providing advice and guidance to other departments on risk and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the onboarding of new suppliers ensuring all procedures are followed and comply with internal and external processes and procedures.
Manage both in-house and contracted resource – you will be required to oversee compliance of operations in the area of planned preventative maintenance as well as repairs, improvements to fabric and replacement of engineering services to deliver a safe, cost effective and timely service.
Regularly review and update compliance policies to reflect any changes in UK ensuring the business remains proactive in its compliance efforts.
Work closely with senior leadership to provide regular reports on compliance and risk management activities, as well as offer strategic input on compliance-related issues.
Evaluate existing compliance frameworks, making recommendations for improvements, and ensuring that all regulatory policies are documented, communicated, and properly implemented.
Be a team worker with a flexible approach, to include the ability to request and offer support from other team members as required.
Manage and mentor the compliance team, overseeing their personal development ensuring the team is well-equipped to support the wider business in all compliance matters.

Ability to work quickly and calmly, especially under pressure and in emergency situations
A working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
Good at planning and organisation with the ability to manage to day to day workload.
Excellent working knowledge of built environment regulatory frameworks.
High level attention to detail
