The Account Manager role for LoopNet in London focuses on selling subscriptions and online advertising solutions to a diverse client base, from independent agents to large property owners, fund managers and brokerage firms. While the position is primarily new‑business focused, the manager will also inherit a small portfolio of existing accounts and be expected to grow revenue from them within an assigned territory.
Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle—prospecting, delivering product demos, closing deals, onboarding, training and renewing clients—using a consultative approach to understand their needs. The manager will conduct in‑person demonstrations, provide market insights to stakeholders such as owners, investors and lenders, and represent CoStar at industry events and networking opportunities.
Successful candidates will have a proven record of maintaining and expanding client relationships over medium‑ to long‑term sales cycles of 3‑12 months, strong communication, presentation and objection‑handling abilities, and excellent organisational skills. A degree or equivalent experience, a consultative selling style, and the ability to navigate large organisations to identify decision‑makers are required; knowledge of commercial real‑estate, asset management or property‑portal experience is advantageous. A full, valid UK driver’s licence is also mandatory.
CoStar offers a collaborative and innovative culture, office locations in iconic UK hubs, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes private medical and dental cover, life assurance, 28 days annual leave, pension contributions, season‑ticket loans and enhanced maternity and paternity pay. The company is committed to diversity, equality and inclusion, actively encouraging applications from under‑represented groups.
