- Responsible for providing guidance to manufacturing facility to setup documentation in accordance with accepted automotive, corporate and customer standards.
- Support in the development of Preventative Maintenance Program for all manufacturing process equipment.
- Direct local management in all aspects of safe launch regarding new programs.
- Responsible for execution of corporate guidelines in all aspects of manufacturing.
- Review processing methods and provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities.
- Develop and provide guidance to the manufacturing facility in selection of a strong team to have the ability to launch flawlessly.
- Initiates DOEs for new tools and follow through with formalized reporting to management.
- Train manufacturing operations in corporate protocols ensuring optimal results.
- Maintain a current knowledge of the overall aspects of the Manufacturing process, new technology, and processes, attending training courses, trade shows and industry conferences as required.
- Ensure good housekeeping for the department and work area is tidy and organized at all times.
- Plan, co-ordinate, lead, and participate with various multi-disciplined teams addressing objectives associated with the manufacturing and assembly process, productivity, volume outputs, scrap and rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments to optimize a profitable operation.
- Coordinate and manage "run-offs" at equipment vendors against "accepted corporate criteria" as outlined in the terms and conditions of the purchase order ensuring full coherence of corporate polices procedures and practices.
- Responsible to protect own health and safety by working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures.

- Oversee efficient lay-out of the manufacturing process, work flow in accordance with lean methodology with the objective of eliminating waste.
- Conduct studies and implement project plans to improve production efficiencies, cost reductions and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Detailed analysis of quotations providing detailed presentations to corporate executive management recommending potential sources.
- Conduct detailed studies providing a detailed action plan and execution for cost reduction, quality improvements and optimization of the manufacturing process to increase profitability.
- Ensure manufacturing and assembly processes comply with pertinent health, safety and environmental legislation, practices and procedures.
- Develop and provide guidance to error proof all aspects of the manufacturing and operational process.
- Develop and Provide guidance with a detailed request for quotation for suppliers for tooling, integration and products of new or potential programs within corporate guide lines.
- Responsible for the development of in-house manufacturing processes, equipment, fixtures and tooling.
- Supports in the development of Process flow charts, Control Plans, PFMEA, DFMEA and Proto-type builds.
- Develop and provide guidance for a detailed purchase order to suppliers within corporate policy and procedures.
- Risk management, ensuring risk is minimized and the corporate reputation is protected.
- Alert corporate of potential risk factors associated with all aspects of the operation and provide solutions.
- Develop and provide guidance for negotiating competitive sourcing of suppliers for all aspects of new programs.

- 10 15 years of manufacturing / tooling experience in automotive industry.
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management.
- 5 years of manufacturing operations, program management experience in the automotive industry.
- Working knowledge of automotive customers.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with leading organization for leadership and competency.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and any
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Trouble shoot process/equipment related issues and fine tune process to eliminate process-induced defects.
- Clear and precise understanding of automotive OEMs practices and expectations.
- Ability to work independently and draw from experience in all aspects of manufacturing and program leadership.
- Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written).
- University degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or Business with the following experience:
